Le Talbooth

Le Talbooth in Dedham is justifiably the flagship of Milsom Hotels & Restaurants, and sits in an enviable position on the banks of the river Stour on the Essex/Suffolk border.  A visit to this fabulous listed building is a treat any time of the year especially in the Summer when guests dine on the terrace under a huge architectural sail. So too, is the cooking of head chef Andrew Hirst with his skill and passion for great food; the restaurant was awarded 3 AA rosetttes in 2019.

The restuarant is open every day apart from Monday for both lunch and dinner.  At lunchtimethere is a set three course lunch with several choices plus a short a la carte menu, in the evening the full a la carte is available.  Sunday Lunch at Le Talbooth is always special with a delicious set lunch - roast ribs of English beef is always on the menu.

On the upper terrace, the marquee offers the perfect venue for a wedding or party; this is available from March through to October.

Combine your visit to Dedham with a stay at Maison Talbooth, a luxury hotel just a minute away in a courtesy which offers a day spa, outdoor pool and the chance to step back, relax and indulge.
