Will Teather's Globe in Colchester Castle

About

Internationally renowned artist, Will Teather brings three unique artwork to Colchester located across the city centre in Red Lion Yard, Colchester Castle and Hollytrees Museum

Each globe depicts a painstakingly detailed 360-degree view of its surroundings, although closer inspection reveals a sumber of subtle, and not so subtle alterations to the surroundings - it's like looking into a parallell universe!

All three globes can be seen for free; The Red Lion Yard globe is in teh centre of the pedestrian alkway and removed at the end of the working day, and the Castle globe is located in the well house, prior to the welcome desk where you would pay for admission to the rest of the Castle. The Hollytrees globe is located on the second floor in the portrait gallery, which is fully accessible via the lift.

Teather’s globes take months to complete and have been exhibited both in the UK and internationally. For more information on The Colchester Globes, visit the artist’s website.
