Discover more of Colchester's history by joining a virtual, augmented reality Coronation Trail on Street Tag,which has been organised by Colchester City Council’s to mark the Coronation on His Majesty King Charles III. 

The Coronation Trail will run from 1 - 31 May 2023 and take you on a journey to discover 15 locations across the city, each with a link to royalty past and present. At each location, app users can learn about the Royal connection by listening to audio clips or seeing photos and video clips from the past, bringing the locations and stories to life. Users will collect 300 Street Tag points for every location that they interact with.  

Downloading the app is completely free, find out more about Street Tag here: www.colchester.gov.uk/street-tag. Once you have the app, go to the menu, and select ‘Playgrounds’ and then ‘Monument Trail’ – clicking on ‘Colchester’.
