Meet-ups - Every fourth Thursday

We meet in the basement of Two Brews on Church St, for an informal crafting session on the fourth Thursday of each month from 7-9pm. There are no themes to these meet-ups, as this is a chance to work on your own craft project in good company, so bring your own materials and tools from home. The meet-ups are free to attend, but please make a purchase from the bar on the ground floor to support our lovely host venue. They serve coffee, cider & lovely lovely beer (including non alcoholic & gluten free options).

PLEASE NOTE/FAQs:
-This meet-up takes place in the basement of a bar, so is strictly 18+.
-Please be aware, the basement is down 2 flights of stairs and there is no lift access.
-Toilets are available on the first floor, accessible by 2 further flights of stairs.
-Well behaved dogs are welcome at Two Brews.

Stitch & Brews was established in 2022 by Stitch & Bitch Colchester (S&B) in collaboration with Two Brews.

S&B is a FREE informal crafty club established in 2011 as an excuse to get our stitch on.

S&B is for everyone who wants to learn, improve, or indeed show off, their textile crafting skills. We are passionate about learning new (& improving existing) crafting skills, making fun stuff, then sharing it with each other and the world.

S&B was established in 2011 by fine art graduate Alex who specialised in textile sculptures. Her partners in Stitch are Amy & Megan, both artists living & working in Colchester. They took over S&B when Alex moved to the big smoke. Amy & Meg host together and are passionate about learning & improving crafting skills and making fun stuff then sharing it with the world. The team also undertake creative projects, textile art commissions & are available for private craft workshops. Get in touch if you need us!
