Roman River Spring Concerts 2025
This year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Roman River Festival and the fourth year of the Spring Concert Series, which have become a staple part of North Essex cultural life, bringing world class performances to North Essex.
This year is no exception, with performances by internationally acclaimed harpsichord and clarinet players, and by the Bloomsbury Players, who explore the romantic chamber repertoire on gut strings with a historically informed perspective.
“There are not enough superlatives to describe the music I just had the privilege of hearing.”
“Friendly atmosphere, great value, just the sort of music I love – and of such consistently high quality!”
“Fantastic music, fabulous performers, a range of styles, wonderful friendly atmosphere, excellent education programme. It is getting better year on year.”
“Brilliant. I’ve recently moved from London, and if this festival was there, I wouldn’t have a hope in hell of getting tickets, let alone be able to afford them!”
