Colchester was Britain's first city, and now acknowledged as its oldest recorded town, with a story stretching back over 2000 years. Join one of our official town guides on a guided walk and explore the dramatic events that have shaped the town, from the destruction of Roman Camulodunum to the Civil War Siege of 1648 and beyond.
The Camulodunum to Colchester Tour runs weekly, and is led by our experienced and fully qualified town guides, meaning your tour is guaranteed to be well paced, entertaining, and factually accurate.
NEW FOR 2022: Price includes a 10% off voucher for food and drink in the cafe bar at the Mercury Theatre (T&C's apply)
Please note no tour will run on Saturday 10th September. A series of free tours will be available instead as part of Heritage Open Days.
