A message from the Organisers 23/07/2021

We have made the extremely difficult decision with the blessing of our hosts 'Colchester Events' to postpone the Colchester Open Air Film & Food event & Eating Street food Market.

With the current wave of Covid cases & the track & trace self isolation 'pings' we cannot take the financial risk to proceed with the event in just 2 weeks time - especially with pubs & clubs opening and the track & trace self isolation active for all until mid August. With such a small management team we are only one ping or case away from not being able to run the event.

Frustratingly, we are one of the safest events to attend, being in the 'open air' with plenty space but we feel we will struggle to generate the extra ticket sales needed to make the event viable.

We have therefore postponed until August 4th to 7th, 2022.

Ticket holders have been given the option of refunding or rolling over until next year - we would appreciate support in keeping tickets for next year, monies stay safe with the ticket vendor but gives us an priceless head start in hopefully a Covid free Summer in 2022..

Ticket Holders have been emailed earlier today with information by Must Have Tickets - please do not contact us.

We have made this difficult decision early to give notice to our customers, suppliers, catering vendors & staff - hopefully with enough notice to make alternative arrangements.

We really hope you understand and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

We'll be back again next year!
