Rowing Boat Hire on the River Stour is a popular activity in the summer months. The Boat Yard, located on the bank of the river offers boat hire between Thursday and Monday from March to October.

Boat Hire is available from 9am until last boat hire at 4pm and costs ​​​£20 per hour per boat. 

Maximum of 4 Adults to a boat or up to 5 people with children in the party.
No minimum age but a responsible person over 17yrs of age has to be present in the boat.
No advanced bookings for boat hire - hire on the day at the kiosk.

Peak periods are between 11am and 3pm on holidays and weekends. Please try to visit outside these times if possible and ensure you park responsibly, and are considerate of local residents.

Kiosk also serving coffee, ice creams and snacks for a grab and go option
