Details

We are delighted to have an evening Q and A session with Robert Radcliffe about his Airborne Trilogy, just before the 75th anniversary of the Arnhem landings. The story starts with Theo Trickey who is badly injured during the battle and then taken prisoner. The medical officer who performs miracles to keep him alive gradually learns about his remarkable wartime service. Theo went from boy soldier to commando in Italy and then on to new airborne service. Radcliffe uses flashbacks to tell his story and gives us a well researched, fictional account of the birth of this new arm of the services which culminates in the battle for the Arnhem bridge. You will get a chance to ask Robert any questions you have about the books and then get signed copies of the books.

Tickets are £2 from the store, please purchase these in advance.

Wine and nibbles will be provided before the event and the doors will open at 6.30pm ready for a 7pm start.

Credit cards accepted (no fee)
