Glider Troops taking up position by their glider which crashed near Ranville, Normandy, 6th June 1944.


A Colchester Commemoration Service to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day, including wreath laying. The service will be preceded by an unveiling by the Mayor of Colchester of the 'Pegasus' flower bed in the Holly Trees Garden, Castle Park. The community service is arranged by Colchester Borough Council, The Royal British Legion, and Colchester Garrison.

The Service will be filmed by the Colchester Film Makers Club. Further details on the Order of Service.
