100 Voices, 100 Years

Details

On Saturday 29th September 100 voices from across Colchester will join forces with The Band of The Parachute Regiment and one of the world’s foremost choral leaders, Dominic Ellis Peckham, in a free concert to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War One.

In a collaboration between Roman River Music and Colchester Garrison, the 100 Voices, 100 Years concert will be the culmination of several projects bringing together people from the Garrison and the community to mark Armistice 100. Featuring the Colchester Military Wives’ Choir alongside singers from the Roman River Come & Sing! Choir, the Colchester Garrison Fijian Choir, primary school children from Colchester and young musicians who have been invited to play alongside The Band of The Parachute Regiment this will be a truly inspiring concert.
