Music - Folk, from 13 Apr 2019, free entry

On the second Saturday of every month.

An opportunity for acoustic solo artists, bands and poets to showcase their material, and for you to hear some great music and poetry.

The next SlackFolk session will be on Saturday 13th April, featuring music from:

• Natives – A talented and powerful acoustic folk song-writing duo

• Friendly Visit – Five outstanding local musicians that have got together in a new musical grouping

• David Gilhooly – A musician with a wide and varied background playing a vocal and guitar set

• Dave Rado – An authority on the history and derivation of folk song, with a session of a capella community song to join in and enjoy

Plus a set from Brian Ford – A great entertainer – singer, poet and actor – with a voice that can hail taxis in the next town.

Coffee, tea and food (as well as alcoholic drinks) are available at the Piatto Café at commercial prices.
