Waldegraves Family Holiday Park is located on the beautiful Mersea Island, 10 miles South of Colchester in North Essex. Overlooking the Blackwater Estuary, park has own private beach which are a mix of sand and shingle.

There are Static Holiday Homes available to hire across the park. Each sleeps 6 guests with one double room and two twin rooms with the added option of a pull out bed in the lounge. There is also a wheelchair accessible holiday home with ramp access and widened, sliding doors throughout. Each holiday home is fully self-catering with full sized gas cooker, separate grill & 4 ring hob as well as microwave, kettle & toaster. Each accommodation has a TV and DVD player. Bed linen is included in the price. All holiday homes have double glazing & central heating.

Waldegraves has a large touring park with pitches for tents, caravans & motor homes. There is a choice of electric, non-electric or hard standing pitches. The park can accommodate large groups on request.
Visits to Waldegraves can be relaxing or fun packed with plenty to keep all age groups occupied. Family entertainment is available every day throughout the season with activities both during the day and in the evening. For large group bookings we are able to tailor entertainment to suit our guests if you wish.

There is an outdoor heated swimming pool open May- September which is included in the price of the stay. Golfing facilities include 10 bay undercover golf driving range, 18 hole grass pitch & putt, 9 hole crazy golf and FootGolf course. There are 4 well stocked coarse fishing lakes on site with well-maintained swims. There are a variety of large fish in the lakes including mirror & common carp, tench, roach, bream & gudgeon which will keep any keen fisherman happy.

The Wheatgrain Supermarket on the park is kept stocked with groceries, snacks and confectionary as well as leisure accessories, fishing tackle and gifts. The Granary Restaurant offers a superb selection of Hot and Cold meals taking advantage of the masses of quality fresh produce local to Mersea Island. Eat in the superb comfort of the Restaurant or on the decking overlooking the Swimming Pool. Half board dining packages available.

There is ample parking for cars in the main car park with plenty of space for coaches if required. Facilities for coach drivers can be provided including accommodation. Groups are accepted all season with discounts available for large parties outside of the busy season.
