Jason D

Sarah Blanc recounts her past dating life through the songs of her first love – Jason Donovan. Presented in a lecture-style format, alongside a cardboard cut-out Jason, she offers important life lessons for those with too many broken hearts, through dance, theatre, comedy & a whole lot of lycra. Nothing can divide us with Sarah to guide us.
The Place, IdeasTap Accelerator Fund, Accelerator Pledgers and Candoco Dance Company. Creative mentors- Bryony Kimmings and Aletta Collins. Winner of the Space to Dance Award at Brighton Fringe Awards 2016.

“Blanc’s personality is a mixture of a close friend that never takes your dating advice and the parts of ourselves that we’re embarrassed to admit.” (Jason Ed fringe, no more workhouse blog)

“Performer Sarah Blanc showed flawless comic timing throughout this hilarious and original piece that kept the audience hanging off her every ’80s-inspired movement.” (Vikki Vile)
