Christina Johnston dubbed The Nightingale (originally from Framlingham, Suffolk) is said by many to be one of a kind in the vocal world. Despite her young age she is already making a name for herself in the classical world with her vocal range that most could only dream of.
She has already had solo tours in Europe, Asia and South America and will be returning once again to the UK, this time for her debut album “Blessing” tour around the east of England.

The popular soprano amongst Presidents and State Officials alike, is returning to the UK to release her album, "Blessing" on September 22nd. The stunning debut album ‘Blessing’ consists of a mix of highly popular opera arias plus some rarities that are totally suited to her high coloratura voice.

These include selections by Mozart, Rachmaninov, Bellini, Dvorak, Gounod, Handel, Grieg, Johann Strauss, Canteloube and the notoriously difficult arias ‘Der Hölle Rache’ from The Magic Flute and ‘Bell Song’ from Lakmé by Delibes.

She will be accompanied by the incredibly talented Russian pianist, Inga Goldsmith who has worked with the likes of, Valeri Gergiev at the Marinski Theatre in St Petersburg.

It will be an evening of spectacular coloratura arias, the highest ever written pieces for voice by Mozart, Delibes and many more.
It is set to be a fabulous evening of colour and vocal agility.

She will have 10 concerts in total:

23rd – The Church of St Peter and St Paul, Aldeburgh, Suffolk - 7pm -
28th – St Mary’s Church, Bury St Edmunds – 7pm
29th – St John the Baptist Church, Peterborough, 7pm
30th – St Botolph’s Church, Colchester – 7pm

5th - Wymondham Abbey, Norfolk – 7pm
6th – Chelmsford Cathedral, Essex – 7pm
7th – Great St Mary’s Church, Cambridge – 7pm
12th – St Mary-le-Tower, Ipswich – 7pm
13th – St Nicholas’ Chapel, Kings Lynn – 7pm
14th - St Peter Mancroft, Norwich – 7pm
