Or why not come up to date with a stroll on the town to sea trail, new for 08. Here are just a few themed tours to choose from:

  • Dark, dastardly deeds, mystery and mayhem on this lively bloodcurdling Colchester tour. Hear the story of Colchester as told by wicked Nick the Gaoler and his wife ... with the nice bits taken out!

How to book:
Bookings for tours are taken at the VisitColchester Information Centre in Queen Street.

Bookings can be made in advance or on the day but the number of places on each tour are strictly limited. All tours start from the War Memorial, Castle Park gates and finish in the town centre. except the town to sea trail finishes on the quayside of the river at the Hythe, full details will be given when booking.
