The Colchester Food and Drink Festival

The Colchester Food and Drink Festival is celebrating its 5th year this year. The show will be held on 28th and 29th June 2008 and this year BBC Essex will be broadcasting live from the show on Saturday with a BBC 'Gardeners question time' in the afternoon.
The festival includes The Colchester Rose Show, where there will be lots of stalls and sites to wander around and find something for the garden, or why not enter your horticultural delights into the competition. There will be music to entertain as well, which will include brass bands and samba. Celebrity guests will also be there. Sunday will see a tribute to our local veterans where there will be music from The Paratroop Regimental Band and The Tilbury Brass Band.
The Colchester Food and Drink Festival opens at 10am until 4.30pm at the Lower Castle Park.
Admission is £3 for Adults, £2 for OAP's and Children, under 12 years are free.
