We Want Your Images of Colchester and the Surrounding Area

We want your photos of Colchester and the surrounding area!

 

The Visit Colchester team have worked hard on their new website and now we need your help to make it even more interesting for those people who use and promote Britain's Oldest Recorded Town to visitors.

 

Great photos sell products and tourism is no different. We want your photos to use as banners to send the right message out to the world that Colchester is a must visit destination.

 

So what are we looking for? We all know how beautiful and photographic Colchester is, so grab you camera or search your computer for images you have of Colchester and the surrounding areas and send them in to us.

 

It doesn't have to be an iconic scene of Colchester it can be of those hidden treasures of Colchester.

 

We need photos that are or can be made to fit 960 pixels x 204 pixels and be of a high quality and at most 3MB.

 

So grab your camera and get snapping and you may soon see your image being used on www.visitcolchester.com the official tourism website for Colchester.

 

Terms & Conditions -

1.Photos must be provided in electronic format, images must be no larger than 3MB files and must be a Jpeg format.
2.All photos must be emailed to matthew.jennis@colchester.gov.uk
3.By submitting photos you are confirming that you are the owner of the image(s) and the images are not subject to copyright.
4.By submitting photos you grant Colchester Borough Council permission to use the images on www.visitcolchester.com or however they deem necessary.
5.Colchester Borough Council reserves the right to modify the images eg cropping, if in their sole discretion an image is not wholly suitable for the specific purpose of tourism promotion of Colchester.
6.Colchester Borough Council can not guarantee to use photos which are submitted in any promotions for Colchester. 
7.No payment will be made for use of photos / images used on any Colchester Borough Council website or other promotions
