Birch Grove Golf Club
Birch Grove is a friendly club and with competitions every week it is an ideal way to meet new people. We have excellent drainage on the course and it is very rarely closed due to bad weather.
The par 66 standard scratch 63 established course is a pretty nine holes surrounded by woodland with several water features. There are 4 par 3, 4 par 4, and 1 par 5 holes, some of which are quite challenging. Accuracy is the secret to a good round.

From the centre of Colchester take the A134, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit into Maldon Rd B1022 signposted Maldon, turn left into Beaconsfield Av B1026, at the mini roundabout left into Layer Road, B1026 Signposted B1026.

Home cooked meals available int he clubhouse. There is a small shop with competitive prices offering a regripping service.
